I found this recipe on Facebook and fell in love with it! We always have these protein bars in our fridge. They are super easy to make! They are also pretty light on your wallet!
1 cup of all natural peanut butter
1/2 cup of honey
3 cups of quick oatmeal
Optional: chia seeds, flax seeds, dark chocolate chips.
Line a 8×9 pan with tin foil. Then, in a pan, heat the honey and peanut butter. When it can be easily stirred mix in the oatmeal and any of your optional items. Move the mixture into the foil lined pan and press in. I try to make my bars about 1/3 inch thick. Throw them in the fridge for at least a half hour to let the bars get firm. Cut them into the size bars you want and ENJOY!!
